The printed registration flyer for HPF 2009 has this to say about Day Passes:

"Day passes are good from 9:00am to 9:00am the next day. You cannot purchase more than ONE day pass per person. Sold at gate only."

This wording is somewhat confusing. Many of my friends think this wording means:

"You cannot purchase more than ONE day pass per person for the entire HPF 2009 weekend," thus each person attending using a day pass may attend only one day of the Festival because they will only be allowed one day pass.

For example, persons wishing to attend a specific ritual on Sunday evening with a day pass may not attend the Saturday concert because they can only get one day pass for Sunday or Saturday, not both.

I'm under the impression that this wording means:

"You cannot purchase several days' worth of day passes at one time for one person. You must purchase one day pass at a time per person, and to remain at HPF2009 the following day, each person with an expired day pass must come to the gate and purchase another day pass for the next 9:00am to 9:00am period."

I think the second meaning is more what you are trying to say, but I'd like someone who knows these things in more detail to clarify this.

I have responded to your forum post in a private email earlier today.

Yes, thank you for your response.

Incidentally, which HSA Committee handles the printed HPF materials? I've been thinking of joining HSA, and I have experience writing and technical writing, so I could lend that expertise to improving the printed materials and website content.

That's actually a number of committees. The Brochures committee handles the registration forms that are mailed out to previous festival attendees. They also create the festival brochure that you get when you arrive.
There is a Newsletter committee for our newsletter that is published every quarter and cross-quarter holidays.
The Public Relations committee handles the information on the website.
The Registration committee manages the registration portion of the website.
There are all kinds of opportunities to get involved with publishing or website skills. Thank you for your interest.
